Twenty+ years of
experienced guiding and a lifetime of hunting will ensure your
hunt will be one you will never forget!
We hunt Wildlife
Management Zone 67 near Chitek Lake, Saskatchewan along the edge
of the farmland in prime forest area. The majority of our
hunting is done from heated ground blinds or carefully placed
tree stands. You will fly to Saskatoon the day before the
hunt begins (Saturday). On Sunday we will pick you up from
your hotel and drive 2.5 hours to Chitek Lake where we have a
modern lodge with all the comforts of home. All hunts are
six days in duration. Hunting is not allowed on Sunday.
Our price includes
excellent home cooked meals for breakfast and supper, packed
lunches, comfortable lodging, transportation, and excellent
field care of your trophy by our experienced guides. Due
to early bookings and that about 85% of our hunters are repeat
customers, we must operate on a first come, first serve basis.
We will do our very
best to ensure you have an enjoyable hunt and pleasant stay.
Whitetail Deer
Saskatchewan is the
number one spot in the world to harvest a Boone & Crockett
Whitetail and is home to the World Record Typical Whitetail –
the Hanson Buck. Our whitetail hunting area is abundant with
wildlife, lakes, streams, and thick forest that consistently
produce some of Saskatchewan’s largest whitetail deer.
Rifle hunting takes
place in November. Weather conditions during the hunting season
can vary from a pleasant +35°F to a chilly –20°F, therefore,
warm winter apparel is a must! Our ground blinds will help
protect you from the cold while affording you the visibility
needed for your shot.
Hunting is done
over active baits from strategically placed ground blinds and
tree stands. Baits are set to accommodate either rifle or bow
hunters. About 90% of our trophies have been taken between
10:00am-2:00pm and we boast an 85% success rate. Hunting areas
are alternated every year to allow bucks to mature with minimum
hunting pressure.
Black Bear
We offer some of
the finest Black Bear hunting in Saskatchewan for both rifle and
bow enthusiasts. Our hunting area is well populated with large
black bear. Several of our clients have taken Boone & Crocket
bears. You will be hunting black bear, but don’t let the name
fool you! In addition to black, these bruins come in all color
phases from blond, to cinnamon, to chocolate and mixed. We hunt
black bear in May & September.
Fishing
Because the
majority of bear hunting begins mid-day, a boat is available for
use by those who wish to experience one of Saskatchewan’s
cherished outdoor activities – fishing for Northern Pike,
Walleye and Perch!
Birds
Hunting packages
are available from Sept. - Oct. where you will find some of the
finest waterfowl and upland game bird hunting in Canada.
